THE PROBLEM:
The problem, which affects most divorced women, is a lack of friendships. Those married friends who may have stuck by still have families 24/7 whereas the newly divorced woman has open time slots which need to be filled. Being divorced can bring isolation and loneliness. "Can", but it doesn't have to!
Seven years ago, I (perhaps like you) was in the crazy period of divorce and starting over. I had a couple of younger single girlfriends with whom I had nothing in common, except for the fact that we were single. I knew that these were surface friendships, but at least they filled a void! Nonetheless, as time went on, I knew that I wanted to meet women with whom I had more in common and who shared similar life experiences– the question became, how would I find them?
It was out of this very personal need that the Pink Peppers was formed!
THE SOLUTION

My father had been a ham radio operator and I remember sitting on the floor in his office, as a child, watching him tap out messages in morse code. He connected with people all over the world...it was fascinating. A few of his radio friends would pass through St. Louis on occasion and we would get to meet them in person. Putting a face and a name together was awesome.
Because of this memory, I knew that finding a means to communicate, network nationally, and meet up locally with other divorced women would be key to solving the universal need that we have for friendship. Through the power of the internet, and unlike morse code, today’s social internet experience is very personal and interactive.
Although local introductions are – and always will be - the #1 goal for members of the Pink Peppers, our members have an enhanced on-line experience whereby they are provided with the ability to post profiles and blogs, upload pictures and videos, set up interest groups and local area chapters, find other members through various search functions ---- all sorts of incredible ways to get to know each other, on a social or professional basis!
Cities have expanded quickly and word of mouth has travelled to all parts of the country. The Pink Peppers can be found in the majority of major US cities (and in a multitude of smaller towns) - as well as several other countries, such as Canada, the UK, and Australia!

For those who miss the camaraderie of girlfriends (or NEED them to get through this period of their life), then the Pink Peppers network system can help by introducing divorced women in our online forums, or on our Facebook Fan Page, where they have the opportunity to from local groups within their own community!
This is not a dating service nor a group of male-bashers! NO WAY!! This is a POSITIVE social/support/professional organization for the unique needs of the divorced and separated women! We also welcome widows or those whose significant relationship ended. Our motto is "laugh, dance, move on" so, if the dance shoe fits...join in!
